Shortness of breath, coughing (with or without mucus), and wheezing are serious symptoms. Many people mistake them for signs they're getting older or out of shape. But they could be symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), which includes chronic bronchitis, emphysema or both.
A five-question screener may help you identify if you are at risk for COPD. Take the screener, then, print and share the results with your doctor at your next visit.
Recognizing that many people do not know what COPD is, a DRIVE4COPD Race Team is hitting the road to encourage people across the country to learn about COPD and find out if they or a loved one are at risk. Each team member is racing for close family members who have battled a form of COPD. The Race Team members are competing to see who can encourage the most people to answer a five-question screener to see if they may be at risk for COPD.
At the end of the screener, vote for the Race Team member that you would like to win the "Race for the Missing Millions."
The DRIVE4COPD Race Team includes:
- Danica
Patrick
- Patty
Loveless
- Bruce

- Michael

- Jim
